A deionization filter system is a water treatment method that uses ion exchange resins to remove dissolved ions from water. It is produce high-purity water for various applications.
The deionization process involves passing water through two types of ion exchange resins, cation exchange resin and anion exchange resin. The cation exchange resin replaces positively charged ions, such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium, with hydrogen ions. The anion exchange resin replaces negatively charged ions, such as chloride, sulfate, and nitrate, with hydroxide ions.
As the water passes through the deionization filter system, the ion exchange resins attract and remove the dissolved ions, resulting in water that is nearly free from impurities. This process helps to achieve a high level of water purity, with a total dissolved solids (TDS) level close to zero.
