A:The 16,000 grain capacity will provide up to 60 days (2,000 gallons)of softened water depending on hardness and usage of your water.After you've filtered 2000 gallons water with RV Softener,the effect of resin will diminish.At this point,you need to replace with new resin or regenerate the resin.If you will replace with new resin,you need to pour out the old resin that has expired and clean the FRP tank.Then,the new resin is poured into the FRP tank.If you will regenerate the resin, please follow the steps of REGENERATION INSTRUCTIONS to execute.

A:There are many types of water filter housings. Water filter housings can be of two types: Point of entry (POE), and point of use POU).
Q:How does a water filter housing work?
A:The water filter housing is used with a water filter cartridge to remove sediments from water. The housing itself does not take part in the filtration process. First, the flow enters through the inlet nozzle of the housing. Then the housing directs the flow to the cartridge. That’s where the filtration takes place. After the water is contamination-free, it comes out through the outlet nozzle. They make the filtration process faster by promoting a higher flow of water.
